“Kindred Souls” and “You Otter Dive Into That Star Within” are making their appearance in a 3D virtual group art exhibit with Red Bluff Art Gallery.

Both of these are the original and one of a kind artworks. I have not recreated them in any way.

Though, “You Otter Dive Into That Star Within” would look good in kids nursery and play rooms.

Two sandhill cranes, tall and majestic, taking a leisure morning stroll under the inviting shade of a tree near a tranquil pond.

The inspiration for “Kindred Souls” began as two self-taken photographs of sandhill cranes within our backyard, transformed into digital collages, finalizing as this watercolor painting.

I’ve been lucky to capture these elegant birds during their visits to our space, and they seem to rarely wander alone. It’s always a pair or a family affair, sometimes calling out to each other, adding an extra layer of charm to their presence.

As this piece was crafted, indoors and outdoors, joy and wisdom blossomed in hiding elements like subtle text on a wing and a double helix playfully winding through the tree branches. It was a tactile practice in learning Gujarati script and a deeper reminder that we are all connected souls.

“Kindred Souls” isn’t merely a watercolor painting; it’s an invitation to pause, observe, and reflect. It’s a celebration of nature’s beauty and the threads that intricately weave us all together. Explore the watercolor wonderland for yourself, and keep an eye out for those hidden finds!

An otter gracefully dives into the water, sharing the canvas with a radiant yellow star that captivates the bottom left corner. In the upper right, a blue heart of oxygen ascends, symbolizing the breath of life. The abstract rock and coral background set a dreamy scene, and in the foreground, the seaweed adds a dash of playful graffiti-like experimentation, a signature I’ve been developing to leave its mark on the paintings. All these elements join in a dance, seamlessly harmonizing through a limited acrylic color palette.

You Otter Dive Into That Star Within” is like a cherished bookmark in my artistic journey, one of which is a signaling my triumphant return to the canvas. Inspired by the exhilarating period of my scuba diving certification, it’s a vibrant representation of not just of underwater wonders but also a celebration of conquering fears and discovering the enchanting magic within ourselves.

As a visual narrative, “You Otter Dive Into That Star Within” stands as a vibrant reminder of the transformative power found in courage and inner exploration. It invites us to embrace the profound depths of life and find happiness within, capturing a moment where brushstrokes echo the whispers of self-discovery.
